Improving financial literacy in our secondary schools

Financial literacy is having an understanding of money and finances and being able to apply that knowledge to make effective decisions.

We believe the more people understand about the options they have, the better decisions they will make.

As part of this commitment we actively work at provide support and programs to primary schools, secondary schools and workplaces.

For secondary schools we can partner with your school to help improve the financial wellbeing of your students, by empowering them to take control of their money and future financial security.

We deliver a financial literacy presentation, mainly aimed at students around year 9 to year 11 that covers buying your first car, getting your first job, studying, saving, learning about being savvy online, mobile phones, credit cards and gambling.

If you are interested in your school taking part in this initiative, we would be happy for you to suggest a day and time suitable for your students. We understand that your school program may be full however we are flexible and will be guided by you as to an appropriate date in 2020 and 2021.
